(Indianapolis Star, Feb 2) -- Funeral services for Harry GALEY, 72, retired railroad conductor will be held at 10:30 a.m. today in Conkle West 16th St. Funeral Home. Burial in Floral Park Cemetery. Born in Peoria, Illinois, he had lived here for 32 years. He died Sunday in his home at 1669 Fisher St, Speedway. Mr. Galey retired in 1947 after 35 years service with the B & O RR. He was a member of Brookside Masonic Lodge and Speedway Methodist Church. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Carrie Galey; two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Settle of Silver Springs, Md and Mrs. Olive Wenning of Speedway; a half sister, Mrs. Nettie English of Clinton, Ill (sic); a half brother, Guy Rice of Decatur, Ill and 3 grandchildren. Mr. Galey was well known to the people of Waveland and community. - kbz
